What is a Sneak Preview?

Sneak Preview events are an important and one-of-a-kind step in your college and major exploration process! This summer, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about our colleges, the 150+ majors and 135+ minors, along with experiencing student life and our community as a Golden Gopher. Sneak Preview events dive deeper than the typical campus visit into how our colleges, academic programs, and faculty can benefit your educational experience.

Join us for a U Explore Sneak Preview event to learn more about all of our program offerings, or attend one of our focused topic area events to get a special introduction to the colleges and majors available in those fields. Additionally, included in each Sneak Preview event is an opportunity for a campus tour!

Why should I attend?

As you begin your senior year of high school, you have so much to look forward to! Now is the perfect time to explore the many opportunities available and see for yourself if the University of Minnesota Twin Cities is a good fit for you.

After attending a Sneak Preview event, you’ll leave with confidence in your path as a Golden Gopher. You will have the unique chance to get to know our University offerings in a single day – with an open mind and an abundance of options, you're sure to find what you're looking for, or perhaps, something delightfully unexpected. When it comes time to apply, you’ll be ready!

Who will be there?

Along with you and your guests, you will be amongst other rising seniors from across the state and country who also have an interest in becoming a Golden Gopher and uncovering their path at the U of M Twin Cities.

In addition to staff from the Office of Admissions, you will be welcomed by various freshman-admitting colleges, whose staff will share information about how they bring each major to life through hands-on experiences, career support, research, and more. To learn which colleges will be represented at each event, click the maroon interest area buttons below. Our freshman-admitting colleges include:
