Effective for exams taken on or after 9/1/2006
The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) enables students of any age to take exams on a variety of college-level topics. The University of Minnesota Twin Cities offers college credit for three CLEP exams. The guide below tells you which CLEP tests are accepted by the U of M for credit toward degree program requirements (see below). Tests not listed below are not accepted for credit.
Students wishing to test for French, German, or Spanish credit should contact the University's Language Center for more information (612-624-0862). To have official score reports sent for CLEP tests previously taken, contact the College Board.
