Important deadline alert: The priority deadline for fall 2010 freshman applications was December 15, 2009. Applications that are submitted or become complete after December 15 are considered on a space-available basis. After December 15, space is limited and admission is more competitive.

If you have a serious interest in a major offered in the College of Design or the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences, please note that we will likely have space available for qualified applicants who apply after the December 15 priority application deadline. Learn more.

Have you enrolled at the University of Minnesota before? Change of College or Readmit information

If you are transferring from one degree program to another on the Twin Cities campus, or if you are transferring from the University of Minnesota coordinate campuses of Crookston, Duluth, or Morris, you must complete a Change of College form.

If you are returning to a degree program from an absence of one year or longer, you must complete an Application for Readmission.
