Campus tours
Campus tours are available to prospective transfer students and their families and friends on both the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses.
- The Minneapolis campus tour leaves the Office of Admissions (240 Williamson Hall) at 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (except on University holidays).
- The St. Paul campus tour departs at 11:00am Monday through Friday from 130 Coffey Hall on the St. Paul campus.
- Visitors with disabilities: Visitors with disabilities are encouraged to visit Disability Services while they are on campus (Suite 180 McNamara Center, 612/626-1333, voice or TTY). College and program information sessions
Health Career Center Transfer Information Session
Information sessions are held on Mondays and Fridays, 12:30-1:15pm in 2-565 Moos Tower.
Group information sessions led by staff from the Health Career Center will assist you in considering the possible paths to a degree program in your chosen health career field. The University offers undergraduate degrees in Medical Technology, Mortuary Science, Dental Hygiene and Nursing. Post-baccalaureate degrees may also be earned in the following health science areas: Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Public Health, or Veterinary Medicine.
The Office of Admissions hosts information sessions for the following colleges. These first-step small-group workshops include information on the degrees offered in the individual colleges, the application process, transfer of credit, and degree and liberal education requirements.
College of Liberal Arts (Minneapolis campus)
- Monday through Friday, 3:30 - 4:00pm
College of Biological Sciences (Minneapolis campus)
- Information sessions are held on Mondays and Fridays, 1:00-1:30 pm
College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (St. Paul campus)
- We offer one-on-one visits Monday and Friday mornings from 9:00 am to noon on the St. Paul campus. During your visit, you can learn more about your major of interest, the transfer process and go on a tour of the St. Paul campus. Please contact a CFANS transfer counselor directly to set up your campus visit!
- New! Nutrition and Food Science Transfer Information Session: At this session, you will learn about the Nutrition and Food Science programs, find out about transfer admissions requirements, and get answers to all of your questions about applying to these two exciting majors. The session is held from 10:15 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. on selected dates, with an optional campus tour afterward. Click here to register.
If you are unable to attend one of the sessions listed above, please contact the Office of Admissions and ask to speak with a Transfer Admission counselor in your intended college. They should be able to answer your questions, or arrange for another time to meet with you.
