In order to complete your University of Minnesota Twin Cities admission application, please submit a clear and legible scanned copy of the following documents.
IMPORTANT: It is your responsibility to ensure that all items are received by the application deadline. Check Application Tracker to verify that the University has received your submitted documents. Please note that items generally appear on Application Tracker within 10 business days.
If you have attended secondary school in South Korea, you need to upload the following items to complete your application:
(1) 9th-12th grade academic transcripts
9th-12th grade transcript or academic record from each secondary school/high school you have attended in the original language and an English translation.
(2) English proficiency test score reports (Required)
ACT and/or SAT test scores are not required for international students but are highly recommended.
(4) Courses In Progress
If you have not yet graduated from high school and your transcript does not include your final "in-progress" coursework, submit a list courses you are currently enrolled in or will complete by the end of your school year in a PDF or JPG file format. (Please note that Microsoft Word files are not accepted.)
Submit a PDF copy of your GED results.
If you attend a school that provides narrative transcripts, then the University of Minnesota Self-Reported Academic Record site cannot be used to self-report grades.
If we have requested a copy of your passport, please submit a PDF of your passport here. Passport copies are not required to receive an admission decision.
If you have already sent your test scores directly to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities from the testing agency, you do not need to upload them here.
Do not submit letters of recommendation, bank statements, art portfolios, and any other additional documents via this form.
If you are admitted and confirm your enrollment, you will be required to submit official secondary school documents from all schools attended along with proof of graduation and/or examination results as well as official test scores from the testing agency before you are eligible to register for classes at the University of Minnesota. Official documents will be very carefully reviewed against documents submitted at the time of application. For any altered, modified, or falsified documents, admission offers will be rescinded, the I-20 will be cancelled, and the student will NOT be allowed to enroll at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
