What is Slate.org?

Slate.org is a secure platform where school counselors can access application status and admission information for their students across participating colleges/universities.

What can I find on the University of Minnesota Twin Cities' Slate.org platform?

Slate.org is our primary method for sharing applicant information with high schools. The portal is a helpful tool for you to track your applicants' statuses and receive notice of their decisions. If counselors choose to use it, there are also tools for uploading applicant materials directly to colleges and universities (we encourage you to use whatever document system works best for your school).

How do I set up an account?

If you already use Slate.org, you can skip this step! If you haven't used Slate.org before, create a new account. If you are the first staff person at your school to create a Slate.org account, the Slate staff will verify your account within 1-2 business days. If one of your colleagues has already created an account for your high school, your colleague will verify your account. Learn more about creating/managing Slate.org profiles.

If you are a school without a CEEB code, please contact the Office of Admissions at [email protected].

How do I view applicant data on Slate.org?

Within Slate.org, navigate to the Colleges button (find the column building icon in the top navigation menu) and search for the University of Minnesota Twin Cities on that list. Click on our college name to view student data for your high school.

What if I have questions?
