Assistant Director, National Recruitment (Southeast)

Hi! My name is Lyndsey Turner, and I’m your regional admissions counselor for the Southeast at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities! Based just outside of Raleigh, North Carolina, I work with students (like you!) and families across North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky. 

During my senior year of high school, I didn’t know much about the college admissions process, and that’s exactly why I can’t wait to be an advocate and resource for students like you that I wish I had myself. Helping you navigate and enjoy your journey and discover everything the U of M has to offer is truly the best part of my role!

When I’m not out on the road, you can usually find me watching all kinds of sports (especially OU college softball), cooking Italian dinners, or spending time at the beach in the Outer Banks. I can’t wait to connect with you and cheer you on as you take your next steps toward becoming a Golden Gopher!
