Ethel Curry American Indian Scholarship Application

The Ethel Curry American Indian Scholarship is a four-year award for up to $3,000 per year. The scholarship is awarded to American Indian students who have applied to the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and have made a significant contribution to their American Indian community and culture.

To be considered for the Ethel Curry scholarship for fall 2008, please complete this application form, and mail all requested materials to the address provided below by the priority deadline of APRIL 1, 2008.

Please describe your activities, memberships, and positions of leadership that demonstrate your involvement with your American Indian community.

After you have completed the form above, please mail the following required items to the address provided below:

  1. Documentation of your tribal enrollment. (This can be obtained through your tribal enrollment office.)
  2. One letter of reference from someone who can document your American Indian community involvement (i.e. high school counselor, Elder, community adviser).
