Hometown: Woodbury, Minnesota Major: Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management Why he chose the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities: "Great business school, larger campus, urban environment, and the great location." Most inspirational U of M alum: "My mom. She's amazing. If she didn't come to the U of M I wouldn't have been born here and I'm forever grateful that she dared to move from Hong Kong, to Hawaii, and ended up in Minnesota." Favorite University of Minnesota class: "Strategic Marketing - Doesn't sound fun, but we were able to do a lot of great case studies and the teacher was AMAZING!" Favorite student organization: Sweatpants Club - "I helped start it and it was the fastest growing organization on campus at the time." Favorite U of M memory: "Living in an all-freshmen residence hall, Territorial Hall (T-Hall). All my best college friends were just next door. It made everything easier." Favorite random fact about the University: "Our aquatic center - if the Olympics were to be held in Minnesota they could have their aquatic events on our campus. That's just so cool!" Best place to study on campus: "Wilson Library - They have all these tables you can get to yourself and spread all your books on." The one experience students shouldn't miss: "Living in the residence halls. The only advice my brother gave me when starting as a freshman at the U of M was to live in the residence hall at least my first year because I will meet all kinds of people and have all sorts of great experiences. And I did." |
