College Scholarships

To be considered for University scholarships, simply submit the application for freshman admission. Admitted freshmen are considered for most University scholarships based on an overall assessment of their admission application.

Please note that scholarships offered by the College of Liberal Arts require a separate application, which is available here. The priority application deadline for the 2010-2011 Application for College of Liberal Arts Freshman Scholarships is January 15, 2010. College of Liberal Arts scholarships are awarded to admitted fall 2010 freshmen on the basis of both academic merit and financial need.

Recipients are notified by the end of March of their senior year.

    CBS scholarship award decisions are based on an overall assessment of each student's application for admission. CBS scholarship recipients are students whose applications demonstrate exceptional academic records, strong leadership, and extracurricular involvement, which may include scholarly study or research experience.     College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS): 612-626-5602
    CFANS and its departments awards approximately $1.5 million dollars in scholarships to undergraduate students each year. Freshman applicants are automatically considered for all available scholarships, including departmental awards where applicable. Sample college and department scholarship information is below:
